Mental Health Awareness Talk 101

Organised by Caring for Life (CFL) and Mental Health Film Festival Singapore (MHFFS).

As conversations around mental health and mental well-being increase, it is not uncommon for us to be overwhelmed by the amount of information and be confused by differing opinions. In this Mental Health Awareness Talk 101, we will embark on a journey to understand the basics, address any misconceptions or confusions, and talk about applications to self and others.

To make the discussion more immersive, we will be revealing insights through the use of mental health short films.

Learning objectives:
1) To understand the prevalences of different mental health issues in Singapore.
2) To understand the difference between mental health issues and mental well-being.
3) To understand the National Mental Health Blueprint and the services available at different tiers.
4) To understand self care and care for others.
